Using XYZ to log in

When the end user clicks the Login button on the desktop app, they get redirected to an authorization page. This is where they are prompted to scan a QR code to continue logging in with their XYZ app.

1. Scan login QR code

If the end user does not yet have the XYZ app on their mobile, scanning the QR code with their camera takes them to their app store to download XYZ first.

With the XYZ app already installed, the user can scan the QR code via the app's Scan QR button (or a card-specific button).

XYZ asks the end user for access-scope consent. The end user can choose to use an existing identity, or create a new one.

Note: The "Unbox Studio" mentioned here is a stand-in for any client app which might request access. You would only see Unbox Studio on this screen if you're a developer trying to log in to Unbox Studio.
